“Putting Incident Response in Context” by Matt Stamper, Research Director, Risk and Security Management Programs, Gartner
Incident response is a process that all of us will confront at one point or another in our careers. For many security practitioners, poor incident response preparation can be career ending. This presentation will highlight basic foundational elements of an incident response program that includes not only the technical aspects of addressing a security incident, but equally important, the business context required for successful incident response programs that align response priorities with business priorities.

“Real Threat Intelligence: Providing Context in the Digital World” by Gary Hayslip, CISO, Webroot
This presentation will focus on understanding the business use cases for employing cyber threat intelligence (CTI) by a mature security program to provide value to organizations in managing the impact of today's increasing threats.

“CIS-20 and Practical Demo” by Rusty Sailors, Chairman, Protecting Tomorrow
The CIS-20 CSCs (Center for Internet Security 20 Cyber Security Controls) provide a solid framework as the basis for a Cyber Security Assessment. In this session, we’ll discuss how to clearly communicate the benefits of using CIS-20 CSCs to client executives so they understand the purpose of the Cyber Security Assessment as a means to establishing a solid security baseline for their companies. We’ll demonstrate a gap analysis approach to rating a company on their cyber security posture, and, using those gap analysis measurements as metrics, illustrate the benefits of a multi-phased cyber security remediation program. One of the categories of the CSC-20 CSCs is “CSC-15: Wireless Access Control.” During this talk, we’ll demonstrate why implementing the CIS-20 Controls is important to the security of a company and its staff members.
